Hong Kong faces an “uphill battle” against poverty, one in three elderly Hongkongers living in poverty
Oxfam: The 62 richest individuals collectively control as much wealth as the world’s poorest 3.6 billion people
According to a new study by the anti-poverty organization, the biggest areas of concern is that the group of the super-wealthy are getting wealthier, making the wealth gap between rich and poor more distinct. The majority of the world’s wealth, used to be controlled by 388 people five years ago, merged into 62 people.
